Adam Dobay is a multiplatform writer, researcher and speaker specializing in film storytelling and story patterns. He’s held over 400 lectures since 2010 from Japanese anime to Hollywood’s pop mythology. His two-semester course, Therapy and Enlightenment in Anime ran for two years at the Dharma Gate Buddhist College.

To complement his studies with field experience on the human psyche, he’s delved into areas from classical yoga to Rinzai Zen, and assisted the work of therapists including Dr. Frank Cardelle, PhD.

Adam currently blogs in Hungarian at dobayadam.hu, and preparing his first book, The Story Worlds of Anime, with a planned Hungarian release in 2016. His ten-year stint in the film industry is commemorated on his IMDB page.

Adam is also preparing to launch his anime & cult film blog Moon Rabbit Revolution with posts and videos covering his years of research – you can sign up to get notified of the grand opening here.
